COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSISTANT 1
Junior Leader
(Auxiliary – weekends/weekdays/evenings)

At City of Surrey’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Department, it takes a great deal of commitment, an outgoing positive attitude, a sense of fun and a whole lot of organizational ability to ‘fit’ in our recreation services team!

In this position, you will support the Community Schools Partnership team in planning and running a unique afterschool program. With strong team building skills and a sense of enthusiasm and fun, you will encourage the participation of children and provide positive opportunities for them to grow.

The successful candidate will have a high energy, enthusiastic approach to their work and enjoy the chance to be part of a team that values leadership and organizational talents while working with and building relationships with children.

Candidates must have a current Emergency First Aid with CPR certificate and successful completion of a criminal record check will be required. You have completed grade 12, supplemented by experience in community service work or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
