| Job Description: |
This person will be an integral member of the Village’s management team reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer. The incumbent shall coordinate with Council, various committees of Council, representative business organizations in the Village and surrounding region including Tourism Harrison and the Chamber of Commerce to develop and implement an economic and community development strategy for the Village.
The incumbent shall also be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, preparing and applying for grant funding opportunities through the Provincial and Federal governments and other sponsoring agencies.

| Educational Requirements: |
Required Qualifications
o strong collaborative interpersonal skills and effective communication skills;
o proficiency in all related, current information technology.
o Post secondary education in a related discipline including diploma(s)/degree(s) in community development, business administration, planning, marketing and/or public administration;
o Minimum 3 years of economic development related experience with 5 to 6 years of administrative, promotional marketing and public consultation experience.

This position is a non-union position and offers a competitive monetary and benefit package subject to demonstrated qualifications and experience. |
