Job Description: The District of Hope is seeking a Records Coordinator to implement a paper and electronic records management system processes and assist in developing the Records Management Policy and Procedure Manual. The incumbent will assist in providing direction, support and training to other Departments in records management procedures; assist in establishing best practices for a Records Centre; maintain the Records Centre database and library of all records; apply standards and policies for storage of archival material; and ensure the use of computerized document systems.

The Records Coordinator must be able to work independently and be able to exercise sound judgment in a high volume work environment.

Educational Requirements: Completion of a recognized certificate program in records management, preferably a Certified Records Manager designation or an equivalent educational program; or post secondary education in Library, Information or Archives.
Skill Requirements: Skilled in:
??? records management, creating and utilizing databases and modern office administration;
??? use of computers and related software applications;
??? coordination of people, resources and services;
??? facilitating processes or meetings, co-ordinate and disseminate information and tasks to
others; and establish priorities.
Salary: $26.50/hour
