This position will also act as the Department Head in the absence of the Director. This position will play a key role in Union contract negotiations, Labour/Management Committee, and the disposition of grievances and employee discipline. Educational Requirements: You hold a degree in Business supported by solid experience and understanding of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management with a minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience within a related field. A strong background in local government administration will be an asset. Skill Requirements: The challenges of this role are ideally suited to a dynamic, self assured individual capable of taking charge and administering a hands on approach to management.
