SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
The Senior Business Analyst would be responsible for conducting business systems analysis and design, data and process flow modelling and process engineering with regard to systems and services provided by IT. You would remain current with IT technology and solutions and maintain knowledge of the typical business systems, processes and procedures. Assist with system design changes or enhancements to increase the efficiency of departmental operations. In some cases the SBA may be called on to lead smaller projects as well as budgetary requirements. You would facilitate the creation and delivery of business system training materials.
The successful candidate understands the client???s current and future business plans and IT needs; exhibits detailed understanding of overall strategic direction of functional area within section and general understanding of annual operating plans for the section; anticipates and predicts problem identification and resolution; analyses situations, identifies alternative solutions and makes recommendations. You are able to think logically and analytically in a problem solving environment and have excellent planning, organizing and budgeting skills.
You must have a diploma in a directly related field from a recognized institution plus 6 years of directly related and relevant experience; or a bachelor???s degree in a directly related field from a recognized institution plus 4 years of directly related and relevant experience; or technical courses in the field plus 8 years of directly related and relevant experience. Experience to include at least two years at the Business Analyst 2 level or acceptable equivalent.
