Duties: Effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently are essential for this position. You will also be responsible to assist in the implementation of a wide range of youth and pre-teen programs and services including Mobile Youth Outreach (MoYO), special events, entertainment and other services. Previous experience working with youth is an asset. Educational Requirements: The successful candidate will have completed grade 12 supplemented by 1 year of experience in community service work or an equivalent acceptable combination of training and experience. Skill Requirements: A valid B.C. driver’s license with a safe driving history is also required. You are diplomatic, have excellent communication skills, and are an experienced instructor. Current standard First Aid, CPR ‘C’ and High Five (if working with children 6-12 years) certificates are a requirement. You will be required to complete a criminal record search. You will have good verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with a practical approach to operations that involves being flexible and observant.
