Currently, we are recruiting for an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic regular full-time Project Engineer to join our Design & Construction team in the Engineering Division.

Reporting to the Manager, Design and Construction, you will be responsible in this regular full-time, exempt position for leading roads, water, sewer and drainage projects including conceptual design work.

Your education will include a degree in Civil Engineering, with eligibility for/ or registration as, a Professional Engineer in B.C. A strong background in project management, supervision, and construction supplemented with a minimum of two years experience in the Municipal or private sector is preferred. You will have a demonstrated track record and ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise the work of consultants and contractors. Verbal and written communication skills, emotional intelligence, community consultation practices and a keen understanding of environmental requirements are essential in this role. Extensive computer competency is required with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, visual presentations, modeling and project management. A valid Class 5 full-privilege BC driver’s licence is required.
