You will be accountable for providing expertise and assistance to City Departments on classification and related matters, while assisting the Manager and gaining exposure to Labour Relations and Compensation. Position involves assisting in the preparation of collective bargaining and compensation reviews through documentation, sourcing archives and analytical research. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a range of diverse HR initiatives and projects.
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years??? experience in a multi-union public sector environment supported by a related degree or diploma and knowledge of HR best practices and legislation. Your background should consist of specialized and progressive experience with job classification and analytical research. CHRP designation is an asset.
