Abbotsford Exhibition Park The Abbotsford Exhibition Park is looking for a dynamic Coordinator to share in the programming of this exceptional 75 acre park and multipurpose facilities located in the heart of Abbotsford; as well as satellite sites throughout the City. This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of comprehensive community recreation programs and other related wellness programs from planning to implementation, including the supervision of program staff. This position will also include programming community recreation activities for all of the following age categories: preschool, children, adults, or seniors. You must be an experienced recreation professional with a proven track record in programming, marketing, supervision, and budgeting for a variety of ages. Your education and experience include a degree in recreation, or a related field with a minimum of two approved courses in recreation program management/development and three years experience in recreation program development; including a minimum of six months experience in the area of assignment and one year related supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or certification in recreation programming as well as current Level 1 Occupational First Aid and CPR-C are required.
