Job Description: This is an administrative and supervisory position reporting to the City Clerk and responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing and leading of staff. Key responsibilities will include the coordination of activities relating to the City???s business, legislative and administrative matters.

This is a high profile role and that requires an ability to establish and maintain exceptional working relationships with management, unions, staff, elected officials, and the public. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university in business administration or related field, and at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience that includes supervising and training staff.

You are comfortable in a role that requires tact and diplomacy and you thrive in a role where your organizational and administrative skills are fully utilized. Your extensive knowledge of the fundamental principles and practices related to the development and adoption of City by-laws, and municipal policies and procedures, will ensure your success in this role. Prior experience in a similar role would is desirable.
