| Job Description: |
We are seeking a responsible, mature individual to assist in the efficient operation of the Utilities Section of the Engineering & Operations Department through reliable performance of laboring duties complying with municipal policies/practices. This position will perform all non and semi-skilled tasks associated with labourer duties at the Water Polution Control Centre.

| Duties: |
Duties will include:
-cleaning the exterior of digesters, clarifiers, tanks, walkway and railing;
-draining and cleaning the bottom of chlorine contact chamber
-painting digester walls
-cleaning and painting blower building floors
-clean and painting the grit and filter press building floors.
|
|
| Educational Requirements: |
Must have 2 years experience in the labour force.
|
|
| Skill Requirements: |
Valid BC Driver's Licence; recognize and rectify and/or report on actual or potential safety hazards; able to perform manual duties and lift heavy objects.
|
|
| Salary: |
$19.33 to $22.74 per hour |
