Aerobics Instructor to join our team of professionals in the Recreation Culture and Parks Division. These auxiliary positions??? hours of work are varied, including day, evening and weekend classes. It is essential that the ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is energetic and enthusiastic, is well organized plus is able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts. These auxiliary positions will lead a variety of aerobic classes at various sites including the Walnut Grove Community Centre, W.C. Blair Recreation Centre, Willowbrook Recreation Centre, Aldergrove Kinsmen Centre and Willoughby Community Centre, located in the Langley Events Centre. The successful candidate must have a BCRPA Group Fitness Instructor certificate or equivalent as well as current First Aid & CPR certifications. The rate of pay for this position is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience, plus 4% in lieu of benefits. These positions are defined by the Township of Langley as positions of trust (Child Safety) and require a criminal record check.
