In this challenging part-time role you are responsible for developing, promoting, leading, supervising and evaluating a wide variety of recreation services and sports programs and events. The scope of the position includes selecting, leading, training, mentoring and evaluating a large team of recreation staff. Excellent communication, organizational, administrative and problem solving skills and abilities, combined with a strong commitment to customer service excellence as well as relevant leadership and recreation supervisory experience are essential. Your education includes a diploma in a recreation related discipline plus a minimum 2 years experience in recreation program development including 1 year of supervisory experience in a recreation environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
