General labouring responsibilities include manual tasks involving considerable physical effort and a variety of construction and maintenance jobs. Your duties will vary and you will be responsible for performing manual and semi-skilled tasks which may involve considerable physical effort. Public relations and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position. Knowledge of, and prior experience in Public Works would be considered an asset. The successful applicant must have completed grade 12 and have experience in a general labour, public works, maintenance and/or a construction environment. The shifts may vary and could include days, afternoons, and night shifts (including holidays and weekends). A valid Class 3 BC Driver???s License with a safe driving record is considered an asset.
