| Duties: |
The Engineering & Municipal Operations Department seeks an individual with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to join their Department in the role of Engineering & Facilities Clerk. Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, this position provides a variety of office support services to the Engineering & Facilities Division including receiving City facility repair and service requests and notifying appropriate service resources and liaising with the City???s building access system security provider in order to track and complete access system changes. Duties also include composing routine correspondence, maintaining and updating records, compiling information in spreadsheets and preparing reports, and preparing and processing invoices and contract progress payment requests. The Engineering & Facilities Clerk, as part of a three person administrative team, provides broader office support services within the Department when required including providing front counter reception coverage and assisting the Manager, Operations. | Educational Requirements: |
Necessary qualifications include:
? Completion of the 12th grade, supplemented by office administration courses;
? Sound related office support experience, preferably with experience in a building maintenance
services environment, municipal operations and/or knowledge of the nature of routine building
maintenance and repair issues;

| Skill Requirements: |
Necessary skills include:
? Intermediate to advanced computer skills using the MS Office suite, with previous database
experience;
? Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to liaise effectively with a
number of internal and external clients. |

| Salary: |
The annual salary range of this position is $40,323 - $47,409 with comprehensive benefits offered. |
