Children and Youth, you are responsible for programs and services, staff recruitment and development and facility operations in the delivery of programs throughout the Community. The successful individual will be a highly skilled and motivated leader who will be actively involved in providing recreation and community programs and services for children, youth, adult, and seniors Duties: Work at this level is characterized by the significant scope and depth of financial and supervisory responsibilities, within a multi-functional and diversified recreational facility and the high profile of community service. Educational Requirements: The successful candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or college level program and have 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the delivery of recreational or community development. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Skill Requirements: Must have technical expertise applicable to the specific role. The individual will possess exceptional public relations and communication skills and be committed to community development. Experience in budget preparation, administration, staff supervision and marketing is essential. Candidates may be required to work a flexible work schedule.
