| Job Description: |
The City of Surrey???s Parks Recreation and Culture Department is currently recruiting for part time recreation Program Instructors to lead a diverse offering of life-long learning and recreation programs for adults and adult 55+. The City is looking for candidates who are able to teach various pottery techniques.
Qualifications: Standard First Aid and CPR certification with AED training, experience teaching with adults and adult 55+ age groups, and experience teaching pottery is an asset. Applicants must have experience working with clay and working with a kiln.
Candidates interested in this instructor opportunity must possess excellent leadership, organizational and customer service skills and also have a creative and energetic teaching style with a fun outlook. Individuals will be required to complete a criminal record check.
