Regional and Corporate Services. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the General Manager will lead a dedicated and highly motivated division which provides services and programs to our nearly 300,000 residents. As the head of the Regional Services team, you will lead your exceptional staff in providing Regional Planning, Environmental Services, Regional Parks, Recreational Services and Emergency Communications within a multi-disciplinary team environment. In your role as the head of the Corporate Services team, you will lead an equally great group of staff to provide all ???internal services??? such as Finance, Administration, Human Resources and Information Technology. Depending on your background, the General Manager may or may not be required to act as the Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Corporate Secretary and/or the Head of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy for the Region. The successful candidate will be a servant-leader, who exhibits high emotional quotient, good communication skills, and has the ability to lead a group of staff in a diverse and fast paced environment.
