| Job Description: |
The Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is currently seeking versatile, creative and energetic individuals to deliver high quality tennis programs for the City of Surrey.
You will be responsible for teaching preschool, children, youth, and adults to develop the tactical and technical fundamentals of tennis using progressive tennis methods. Along with a great serve, patience, and a passion for the game, you must have strong leadership, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and have proven experience and ability in planning and delivering tennis lessons; be a certified Tennis Canada ???Instructor??? or a certified Tennis BC ???Instructor??? as well as hold a current Emergency First Aid with CPR Certificate.
This part time position requires flexibility as lessons run at various locations and times. Successful candidates will need a vehicle to transport equipment from one facility to the next.
