In this challenging part-time role you are responsible for developing, promoting, leading, supervising and evaluating a wide variety of fitness instruction and wellness programs and events. The scope of the position includes selecting, leading, training, mentoring and evaluating a large team of fitness and wellness staff. Excellent communication, organizational, administrative and problem solving skills and abilities, combined with a strong commitment to customer service excellence as well as relevant leadership, fitness supervisory experience and a strong background knowledge of fitness equipment are essential. Your education includes a diploma in a recreation related discipline and the BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders (SFL) award, plus a minimum 2 years experience in a fitness environment including supervision, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition the following licenses are required: ??? BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer ??? BCRPA Certified Fitness Leader, minimum of 2 areas i.e. Group Fitness, Aquatics ??? BCRPA Certified Weight Training Leader ??? BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders ??? Current Standard First Aid Certification ??? Current CPR Level C Certification ???
