The City is located half an hour south of Vancouver on the shore of Semiahmoo Bay. Duties: Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and as a valued member of the Senior Management team, you will provide leadership to all functions within the department including professional services, engineering, operations, and administration. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction and annual work plans for the department as well as the planning, coordination and supervision of department activities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, developers, public utility and business representatives, government officials and the public. The successful candidate for this position is a visionary leader with demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking and communication including articulating the long term vision for municipal infrastructure and strong report writing skills. You possess an open, team-oriented leadership style and welcome the challenge of seeking continuous improvements in organizational efficiency.
