| Job Description: |
The Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is currently seeking versatile, creative and energetic individuals to deliver high quality tennis programs for the City of Surrey.
|
|
| Duties: |
You will be responsible for teaching preschool, children, youth, and adults to develop the tactical and technical fundamentals of tennis using progressive tennis methods. Along with a great serve, patience, and a passion for the game, you must have strong leadership, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
|
|
| Educational Requirements: |
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and have proven experience and ability in planning and delivering tennis lessons; be a certified Tennis Canada “Instructor” or a certified Tennis BC “Instructor” as well as hold a current Emergency First Aid with CPR Certificate.
This part time position requires flexibility as lessons run at various locations and times. Successful candidates will need a vehicle to transport equipment from one facility to the next.
