The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for three auxiliary Recreation Worker VI – Kinesiologists to join our team of professionals in the Recreation, Culture and Parks Division. The Kinesiologist will perform specialized recreation work involving assessment of clients’ fitness needs and the development of individual rehabilitation, training and conditioning programs. The Kinesiologist is responsible for preparing reports and maintaining records related to this work. Your academic background must include completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent) combined with related experience in the fitness field. The successful candidate will have the following: CPR C, Emergency First Aid, and be a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists or equivalent. The rate of pay for this position is $25.00 - $29.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits. Hours of work will be various shifts including evenings and weekends and are dependent upon client registration. This position is defined by the Township of Langley as positions of trust (Child Safety) and requires a criminal record check prior to employment start date.
