This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that will support the Surrey RCMP priorities and objectives and provide for consistent and effective messaging to both internal and external audiences. These communication plans will include strategies specific to publications, media relations, and social media. Educational Requirements: The successful candidate will have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field. The incumbent will have 5 ??? 7 years of communication and social media experience in the public and private sector and will find this role to be the logical next step in your career. Your strong technical knowledge, combined with a creative flair and a commitment to stakeholder engagement will ensure your success in this new role. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
