Development Technologist I | Posting #C13-11 Your organizational abilities and civil engineering knowledge will lead to success in this role as you administer the works and services aspect of land development projects. Working closely with the Engineering and Planning Departments, you will outline engineering requirements, review plans/designs for municipal services, prepare reports, maintain records, and liaise with a wide variety of internal and external customers. Your background includes a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or the equivalent related diploma/degree from a recognized educational institute, with a minimum of six (6) months related experience in a civil engineering environment. Eligibility for membership in the Association of Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC is preferred, however Graduate Technologist/Technician or Associate Membership are also acceptable. The City of Abbotsford offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to a progressive wage of $29.14 to $34.29 per hour for this Union position.
