Soil Permits Coordinator | Posting #C13-15
Your attention to detail, people skills and civil engineering knowledge will lead to success in this role involving the review and processing of soil removal or deposit applications. Reporting to the Manager of Inspections and Permits, you will ensure that applications are complete, comply with bylaws and regulations, report on and provide recommendations for permit applications, and assist with overseeing the work, including inspection and monitoring, and soil bylaw enforcement.
As the successful candidate you have:
??? Grade 12 diploma;
??? Diploma of Technology in Civil Engineering;
??? Two years??? experience in civil construction and inspection;
??? Valid B.C. driver's license;
??? Membership or eligibility for membership with the Applied Science and Technologists and Technicians of B.C. as an Applied Science Technologist (AscT).
The hourly rate of pay for this union position is from $31.74 to $37.34 per hour (2011 rates). In addition, the City of Abbotsford offers a comprehensive benefits package.
