| Job Description: |
The Dog License Canvasser plans canvassing routes, sells dog licenses, provides bylaw information and records related information.
As the Dog License Canvasser, you will plan canvassing routes for specified neighborhoods, offer dog licenses to residences, sell licenses, collect fees and write receipts. You will also communicate and liaise with staff and respond to inquiries and refer complex and enforcement issues to appropriate staff. In addition you will prepare and maintain files, reports and documentation related to the work.

| Duties: |
The successful candidate will have knowledge of department policies, procedures, practices and related bylaws, as well as computer applications and software used to complete the work. In addition you will have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, as well as interact with the public and have the ability to prepare and maintain files, reports and documentation.

|
| Educational Requirements: |
Qualified applicants will have completed grade 12 plus a minimum of 2 years??? experience in a customer service role and also have a valid BC Driver???s License.
