We are looking to add to our team of passionate, knowledgeable, and innovative multidisciplinary professionals a Senior Planner, who will be our in-house expert and ???go-to??? person on Urban Design and Architectural matters. Using your knowledge of Urban Design and Architecture you will attend the Advisory Design Panel and lend your expertise to a variety of developments including, but not limited to, town centre development, commercial and mixed use development, industrial and business parks, cultural districts, and large scale multifamily residential projects. ??? Your excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills will be critical as you engage with many stakeholders, including Developers, Architects, Consultants, internal staff, external organizations and agencies and the public. ??? Your urban design and architectural experience will greatly aid you in undertaking studies and developing policies/guidelines on design and other planning related issues. Educational Requirements: ??? A Degree in Architecture supplemented by courses recognized by the Canadian Institute of Planners as fulfilling the requirement for full membership. ??? You have at least five (5) years??? experience in the urban design profession after a Master???s Degree. Alternatively, you will have at least seven (7) years??? experience in the urban design profession after a Bachelor???s Degree. ??? Membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners and/or Architectural Institute of British Columbia is desirable.
