We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated Parks Labourers who are looking to build on their current experience in an energetic team environment. You will be responsible for maintenance and custodial work, assisting Parks Operations staff with the care and upkeep of parks, recreation and playground areas, and cemeteries.
You must be able to perform physically demanding activities and be familiar with all the tools of the trade: weed eaters, mowers, hedgers, etc. You work well in a fast paced environment with the ability to take initiative to get the job done.
You must have:
• completed Grade 10;
• six(6) months experience in general parks maintenance, landscape, horticulture or construction work.
• a valid B.C. Driver’s licence with a safe driving record.

These positions are paid hourly at a rate of $21.00 plus an additional 12% in lieu of all benefits including vacation and statutory holiday pay.A19-01
