||The Mission Leisure Centre is seeking an energetic and motivated individual with excellent customer service and organizational skills to work on a full-time, temporary basis as a Facilities Maintenance Worker 3.
||You will perform a variety of tasks related to municipal buildings and facilities including installing and maintaining ice, operating resurfacing and other related equipment, operating the arena refrigeration plant, performing minor maintenance and repair of machines, pumps and filters, performing minor construction, renovation, and maintenance of municipal buildings, ensuring building security and performing janitorial and custodial functions for the ice arena, curling rink, swimming pool area, public and multi-purpose areas.
||To be considered, you will have a minimum of one-year experience in ice making and building maintenance, high school graduation, a 5th class power engineer–refrigeration certificate of competency, building service worker (BSW) certificate, occupational first aid, a valid Class 5 BC drivers’ license and preferably certification in Pool Operator Levels 1 and 2.
||The 2020 hourly rate of pay for this position is $31.91 per hour plus 12.4% in lieu of all benefits.
