We curently have the above-noted full-time civilian exempt postion. The main responsibility of this position is to provide tactical and strategic crime analysis to the Management Team and to other branches of the Department. The crime analysis and intelligence information gathered, will support investigative activities as well as assist in the formulation and implementation of departmental policies and priorities. The successful candidate has a university degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Criminal justice or a relevant combination of education and experience in related analysis or research. Other requirmeents include the ability to interpret data and prepare forecasts, knowledge of analysis and mapping tools and effective skills communicating conclusions and recommendations. The succesful candidate must obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearance, which includes a polygraph test. Salary wil be commensurate with education and experience.
