Duties: The City of Abbotsford’s Planning & Development Services Department is seeking two experienced and self-motivated professional to join their dynamic team as temporary full-time Business Systems Support Clerks.

This is a technical and administrative support role providing guidance and assistance on a variety of business processes for specific business systems. The successful applicant will provide user support and assist with in-house training along with a variety of administrative and clerical duties.

This position requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to make good decisions regarding priorities in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment. The successful applicant will possess a high degree of technical computer literacy and the ability to investigate efficient ways of providing customer service, support, and/or problem-solving issues, are essential as this position is the department support for all systems.
Educational Requirements: To be considered for this position you will have:

•Completion of Grade 12, plus post-secondary courses in information technology/computer information systems or a related discipline.
•A minimum two years of business systems support experience applicable to the specific role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience with Amanda software would be considered an asset.
Salary: This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $30.00 to $35.31.
