| Duties: |
Are you ready to take on the challenge of winter road conditions while delivering essential services? We are looking for experienced and safety-minded drivers to to fill the position of Winter Truck Driver. This is a casual on-call position, the hours of work are typically between 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on an as required basis. The successful applicant(s) must have proven experience on snow plowing equipment and driving a single axel dump truck hauling materials and snow removal. |

| Skill Requirements: |
• A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with air endorsement;
• Good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of snow plowing equipment;
• Good knowledge of the use and capabilities of various types of equipment used;
• Considerable knowledge of hazards and proper safety practices/procedures;
• Ability to work independently with minimum direction and make appropriate decisions related to
the work
• Ability to respond to call-outs with minimum notice and work through the night;
• Ability to perform the duties in all winter conditions.

| Salary: |
The wage rate for this union position is $34.94 per hour plus shift differential premium between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. |
