| Duties: |
What will you do:
•Under the guidance of the Manager and Site Supervisors, you will support staff with a variety of tasks related to Parks and Cemetery operations. This includes cemetery-specific duties, facility and event logistics, landscaping and infrastructure maintenance and repairs, and general park-related responsibilities.

| Skill Requirements: |
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
•Currently enrolled in a cooperative education program at a post-secondary institution and returning to school full-time in the subsequent academic year
•Physical ability to assist staff in various tasks in Cemetery and Parks Operations.
•Knowledge of Cemetery operations, facility and event logistics, general landscaping and grounds maintenance, and infrastructure maintenance or repair will be considered an asset
•Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Good working knowledge of software including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products are an asset
•Knowledge of the local community
•Strong customer service focus and a desire to help others
•Open to a learning environment and willing to experience a wide range of new things

| Salary: |
The City of Abbotsford is offering a four-month co-op opportunity beginning May 2026, with an hourly wage ranging from $20.68 – $26.34, dependent on year of study. |
